Get Organized to Minimize Morning Madness

Getting your children up, dressed and ready for school each morning can be challenging. The National Association of Professional Organizers in Michigan wants to share some simple suggestions to help you be more prepared.

  • Clothing: Help your children choose two outfits the night before. In the morning, your children have the opportunity to make a decision as to which outfit they want to wear. This also teaches them responsibility and enhances their decision making skills.
  • Lunches: Help your children pack lunches the night before. If you’re really pressed for time during the week you can prepare all the sandwiches on Sunday afternoon, then freeze them. Each night thaw a sandwich for the next day.
  • Back packs: Help your children empty and clean out their backpacks each day after school. Repack it for the next day with the items your child will need tomorrow.

Staying organized with school-aged children can be easier than you think. For additional tips on getting organized, visit http://www.napomichigan.com/.
