Where’s the Cream Cheese?

Cleaning the refrigerator is an unpleasant task, but organizing it can be fun! The National Association of Professional Organizers in Michigan suggests the following to help you organize your fridge:
  • Add a double level lazy susan to a shelf for the small containers that usually get lost in the back of the fridge, like yogurt or condiments.
  • Add labeled baskets to a shelf and assign a category to that basket. For instance, you can choose a large basket for leftovers and another for breakfast supplies which contains bagels, cream cheese, jam, etc. Food preparations are easier (and no more lost cream cheese)!
  • Put those built-in drawers to use. Maybe select one for lunch meat and one for cheese. Your shopping list preparation is so much easier when you only have to look in one place!

Once your fridge is organized you might just find that keeping it clean is a little easier too – bonus! For more organizing tips, visit www.napomichigan.com.
