Novi, MI. May 20, 2010 - In May, The National Association of Professional Organizers, Southeast Michigan Chapter (NAPO-MI) hosted an annual luncheon for its members to recap past accomplishments and announce the new board of directors.
The event featured a presentation by Immediate Past President Betty Huotari and President Angie Weid where past board members were recognized for their contribution to the Chapter. "Our previous board has created a solid foundation for our chapter to develop into one of the best NAPO Chapters", says Weid. Members of the outgoing board include: Betty Huotari, Stacy Rafalko, Cynthia Gentit, Sue Elder, Debbie Stanley, Cindy Tyner, Karen DeClark, Carol Seneker, Theresa Brune, and Carrie Vance.
The luncheon is also a way for members to reconnect and get excited about the upcoming year. “The new board has some great ideas of taking the chapter in the social media millennium”, says Huotari. “There is a lot of positive energy and everyone is excited about their new board position.”
